International Training in Global Infectious Diseases (GID)

 

US-India joint training program workshop

on Intracellular Pathogens

 

21-24 January 2008 in Hyderabad, India

 

32 scientists (17 National and 15 International) and 30 student trainees participated in the third U.S.-India Joint Research Training Workshop.  Scientists gave presentations on their research and worked in small groups with trainees to develop a research proposal.  Trainees also presented posters of their work.

Overall, the workshop was a resounding success as indicated by the following quotes from a variety of stakeholders.
