4th Workshop of the Seattle-India Joint Research Training Program "Research Training on Intracellular Pathogens"

 

2-7 February 2010, Goa

13 faculty (6 from India and 7 from Seattle, WA, United States) and 30 trainees participated in the 4th workshop of the Seattle-India Joint Research Training Program, "Research Training on Intracellular Pathogens" from  February 2-7, 2010 at The International Centre in Goa, India.  The workshop entailed five days of activities including bioinformatics training, grant-writing exercises, roundtable discussions on research ethics and lectures on current research by participating project faculty and other faculty from Seattle and Delhi. Students and postdoctoral scientists will also present their recent findings in poster sessions.

Overall, the workshop was a resounding success.
